I was hungry he fed me, I was naked he clothed me, I was thirsty he gave me not only water but milk too. When others deserted me, he defiled all odds, passed many oceans, thick forests, valleys, mountains, dodged bullets and bombs and embraced my aching heart, Eugene Iwuamanam, USA

It is heartwarming to recall the courage, altruism, Christian charity that inspired the great relief operation that kept millions of men and women alive in the Republic of Biafra during the fratricidal conflict called Nigeria-Biafra War. Caritas International gave life and hope to the beleaguered innocent men and women in Biafra. The architect of that great humanitarian endeavor deserves our undying gratitude. May Dr. Huessler remain blessed and sung by all who appreciate goodness! Dr. Hilary Paul Odili Okeke, Bishop of Nnewi
