We have been hearing of Saints and people who devoted their religious time to serving humanity. Nobody epitomized this noble call than Dr. Huessler of Germany. Without his noble commitment and sacrifices amid risks, many Biafran (Igbo ) children will not be alive today.

As an Igbo man who fought for Biafra, I say without equivocation that Ndigbo should find a way to immortalize this great giant in Ala-Igbo and beyond. Now that he has been called to Glory, we as Ndigbo must find a way to engrain his good name and legacy into our minds, thoughts and history books so that his persona becomes a house-hold name amongst us.

As a man so devoted to God through our savior Jesus Christ and as a man who delivered many good deeds including assisting the helpless children in Biafra; I have no worries or doubt in my mind that Dr. Huessler is having a peaceful rest in the Lord Almighty in Heaven.

May God grant his immediate family and we the extended family the fortitude to bear this great loss.

May the gentle soul of Dr. Huessler REST IN PEACE! Adieu Dr. Huessler. Laa n'udo! Nọdi nke ọma(ọfụma).
