My heart is moved to learn that this good and loving friend of the Igbos that my mother has told many times about has died. I could recall my mother always saying : "had it not been for relief from caritas, all of them would have perished and i would never have been born".
I was not opportune to meet you alive to show my gratitude, i know that even in death you live on, because great men do not die. May the Lord grant you eternal rest.

I am just hearing of this man for the first time but the story of his work in Biafra/Nigeria is worthy of emulation. I was born in midst of that war and probably survived because of this man's effort. May the good Lord receive his soul in eternal rest.

Accept oh Eternal Father, the sacrifices of your servant who threw in his life for the salvation of his fellow biafrans whom other deemed less human. May a great Biafra arise on his bones amidst the people that he served. In your Kingdom Dear Lord grant him rest and reincarnate him in a world in dire need of his type.

My dear Rev. Father. We appreciate the sacrifice and courage which you exhibited during the darkest days of our (Biafrans) existence. This singular effort of yours kept some of us alive. You spoke out when others kept mute and became bystanders when there was a deliberate effort to extinct the IGBO race by forces of evil. You said no and risked the lives of men under you for our sake. They thought that Biafra will become history, but unfortunately, it has become a phenomenon and a phobia that will hunt those behind the atrocities. May God in His infinite mercy grant you eternal lest in Jesus Name, amen
